Welcome to Parents Tree, my name is Elle and I am the creator and writer of this blog. Besides trying out this blogging thing, I am also a full time high school special education teacher.
In 2022 I become a newbie parent in my early 30s. So far it has been an adventure and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!

I am so glad that you are here!
I decided to start a blog when my maternity leave was coming to an end because 1) there were many things that came up during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum that I did not know about or couldn’t find answers about, and 2) I needed an outlet to get all my thoughts and feelings out. It took me awhile to commit to creating a blog and coming up with a name but here we are.
My hope for this blog is that I am able to share my personal experiences through pregnancy and parenthood to help others, as well as learn and grow from you. While we are navigating through pregnancy and parenthood there can be many unknowns and surprises that I hope we can answer together.
There are no two experiences alike so please share yours or ask questions. You can do this either by contacting me or commenting on the post.
